A red cherry is the ripe fruit of the coffee tree...

Did you know it takes about 4000 ripe red cherries from the Coffee Arabica tree to serve our customers excellent coffee for just one day ??

Luckily, there is only one red cherry that you need to remember… on Forrest Road, State Highway One, RD 1, Cambridge.

The ability to create a freshly roasted coffee at our premises is an extension of our commitment to offering wonderful fresh food.
We prepare everything with great care, commitment to quality and thought of the end user. We use only Arabica beans from many regions, and roast on a 7kg Diedrich drum roaster.
Our 3 blends have all been designed in house and are roasted twice weekly to ensure maximum freshness. We put our roasting date on the bags as a testimony to how truly great coffee is truly fresh coffee.

What is the significance of the date on the bags ?

We display the date the coffee was roasted on as a testimony to only provide our market with truly fresh coffee.

We roast three times a week, so often the coffee is only 2-5 days old.

Coffee needs to mature for 2 days after roasting for optimum flavour.

Whole bean coffee will remain in good condition in these bags, if unopened for up to 4 weeks.

A true connoisseur would use their coffee within two to three weeks of the roasting date.

Coffee should be stored in a cool, dry, airtight

environment.
